BCBA

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) is a graduate-level professional that is actively certified and in good standing, according to the behavior analyst certification board (BACB) requirements and must be a licensed behavior analyst for the state of Texas. The BCBA is charged with developing interventions for clients in need of services behavior analytic in nature. The BCBA develops treatment plans, goals, and objectives based on an initial functional behavior assessment and/or objective skills assessment as specified by the funder requirements. The BCBA may supervise the work of Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts® (BCaBAs®), Registered Behavior Technicians™ (RBTs®), and other professionals who implement behavior-analytic interventions. The BCBA works under the supervision of the Program Manager. Completes additional work duties as assigned. This position has been determined to be exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
