High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion and certification of a Medical Assistant Program. CPR certification. One year experience in a Certified Medical Assistant Program, hospital, or clinical environment.

Certified Medical Assistant responsible for assisting the health care provider. Work is performed under the direction of the physician and RN Program Director as part of a health care team. The position includes performing a variety of patient care activities including but not limited to; obtaining and recording of vital signs, preparing client health record needed by the Clinicians in their day to day activities, ensuring that request for services and diagnostic forms are up to date and to notify appropriate staff whenever necessary, and other Med Clinic related activities.  Strong admin skills preferred.
