HCC Outreach Assistant

High school diploma or GED. 

HCC outreach assistant performs administrative, operational, and logistic support. Staff assists in coordinating for persons experiencing housing instability with mental health and/or substances use disorder. This can include driving clients to community resources and assisting them in moving to stable housing.  Manage office needs and assist HCC Program Director as needed.  Person will serve as HCC Fee Specialist and Consumer Benefit Specialist. 

Must be computer literate.  Telephone and receptionist skills.  Able to deal with public in a cordial and effective manner.  Must be able to pass all applicable training. Must have drivers license. Ability to work with persons who have lived experience with mental illness/substance use/and other life circumstances.  Maintain knowledge about community resources.  Andrews Center incorporates principles of Trauma Informed Care, which includes cultural sensitivity in all areas of service delivery. May serve on work committees as assigned. Work behavior must be compatible with Center Code of Conduct and policies and procedures. Regular attendance and reliability are critical to business operations. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to pass all required training. Proficient in using a personal computer.
