Must have LCDC or LCDC-I with 2 years of experience.
This position is
responsible for conducting targeted outreach to individuals with opioid use
disorders (OUDs) per DSM 5 criteria; conducting screenings with individuals
identified as having an OUD; engaging individuals in a process of informed
consent; ensuring timely entry to treatment in accordance with state and
federal guidelines and providing overdose prevention education. This position
will further be responsible for engaging consumers in brief intervention;
motivational counseling; crisis intervention and case management to support
continuum of care. Maintain required participant documentation in CMBHS as
required by HHSC. The position will be based out of the OSAR office a 23-county
region) to ensure timely service provision. Must have familiarity with Opioid
Use Disorders and effective treatment modalities (i.e. Medication Assisted
Therapy).
