Must have high school diploma or GED. Previous work experience in mental health services and criminal justice preferred. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
The position will oversee the day to day operations of the forensic transitional living facility. Will provide training to clients to assist them in acquiring independent living skills. Will ensure clients' basic needs are met and property is safe and clean environment. Will complete agency registration process for clients entering program. Will serve as benefit advocate to assist forensic clients with completing applications for appropriate benefits including disability and prescription assistance programs. Will assist Forensic Program Coordinator with administrative support and daily office operations. Will serve as liaison to county jails to coordinate appropriate mental health services to inmates enrolled in Andrews Center services. Ability to work with persons with disabilities, advocate for and transport clients, and to work independently and effectively.
