This internship opportunity at the Andrews Center is available for Bachelor's, Master's, and doctoral-level students seeking experience in the helping field.
- Bachelor's psychology and social work students will shadow various bachelor-level staff members, gaining valuable experience in a community mental health setting. Opportunities include exposure to different departments such as adult and children's case management, ACT Team, Substance-use, Veterans groups, IDD, Autism, Peer Support, and Continuity of Care. Expect group supervision meetings twice during the semester.
- Master's and doctoral-level counseling, clinical psychology, and social work students will engage in supervised interaction with clients, providing counseling services and participating in the screening and intake process. This fosters the development of interpersonal, diagnostic, and documentation skills. Shadowing opportunities with specialized units are available upon request. Weekly supervision is expected.
The site administrator for all internship experiences is Nick Bennie, LPC.

- Summer Semester: Due March 1st of the preceding semester.
- Fall Semester: Due June 1st of the preceding semester.
