Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) - Outpatient Treatment

Are you passionate about helping individuals reclaim their lives from substance use? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) to join our outpatient treatment team. In this role, you'll provide expert guidance, support, and counseling to individuals navigating recovery-right in their communities.
What You'll Do:

Conduct comprehensive chemical dependency assessments in an outpatient setting.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that meet each client's unique needs.

Lead individual and group counseling sessions focused on recovery, relapse prevention, and life skills.

Track client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with agency policies and state/federal regulations.

Collaborate with healthcare providers, case managers, and community resources to ensure holistic care.

Educate clients on substance use, recovery strategies, and healthy coping mechanisms.

Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities.
What We're Looking For:

Current state licensure as a Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC).

Experience in outpatient substance use treatment preferred.

Strong understanding of counseling techniques and relapse prevention strategies.

Ability to engage, motivate, and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to chemical dependency treatment.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Bonus Points For:

Experience working with co-occurring mental health disorders.

Certification or training in evidence-based therapies (e.g., CBT, Motivational Interviewing).
