Nursing Practicum/Internship

Graduate nursing students will engage in structured learning experiences tailored to their clinical requirements in order to fulfill required practicum hours for Board Certification. Depending on program needs and the availability of preceptors, students may work together with fully licensed and borad certified psychiatric APRNs to observe and practice psychiatric assessment and treatment planning for medication management appointments, develop clinical skills, gain familiarity with documentation standards, diagnostic considerations, psychopharmacology, therapeutic modalities, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Weekly check-ins with the site preceptor or site administrator are expected for students completing clinical hour requirements.

All applicants must include a resume with their application.
