Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional to provide daily support to individuals with intellectual disabilities. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to promoting independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients each morning with waking, dressing, meals, and preparation for daily activities (as applicable)

• Provide instruction and encouragement regarding positive health and personal habits

• Plan and lead recreational activities

• Follow approved behavioral intervention guidelines as directed by the Psychologist/IDT

• Escort clients to designated activities

• Perform routine housekeeping duties

• Assist clients in preparing for bed when assigned to applicable shifts

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or coursework in a related field preferred

• Ability to provide compassionate, respectful support and follow established care plans
